WHAT DID MIKEY SAY?
“And so, when my career ended, I had the choice to basically do whatever I wanted to do. I didn’t have to work, I didn’t have to survive, which was very different from the normal transition. And that just led me to see a shortage or a pain point in the community and try to create something that would become a pathway that would help to more freedom.”
“Throughout skateboarding I learned that I’m always going to try to talk myself out of things that are new. But, if I don’t let it stop me, nine times out of ten I’m going to do the trick that I was trying to stop myself from doing.”
“If you believe it’s possible [to become a millionaire] then anyone can do it. If you do not think it’s possible, you will not do it. Your truth is your perspective.”
“One has a mindset of, ‘I’ll never get passed this and there’s no point in trying.’ The other is, ‘How do I get there? I’m going to actively take steps to achieve it.’ That little perspective is a game changer.”
“I’ll tell you this. This is our goal as a business. Our five year goal is to be managing one billion dollars. Currently, we’re managing one hundred and seventy million. If we don’t do anything, we should get there in ten.”
