WHAT DID SARAH ANNE SAY?

“I truly believe that when we heal our relationship with our bodies, we heal our relationship with food.”

“The truth is often beyond the mind and that exists within us. That’s our intuition and our deeper knowing and awareness that takes courage to access that place in ourselves. And usually that comes from mindfulness and meditation.”

“Although social media definitely has reinforced the wounding patterns that exist within us, I want to empower people to step out of the victimhood and step into the radical responsibility.”

“Self-love is often the hardest thing you’re going to do. It’s often going into the depths of pain and having to confront the parts of yourself. And that’s what self-love is because you want a better life.”

“When we alter our bodies or when we change our bodies for someone else and not based on our own self-love, at some point that’s going to catch up with us.”

“The challenge is that people fear it [meditation] because people don’t want to recognize or address what’s going on in their minds.”

“Often when we do the work on ourselves with food and body, the other aspects of our life start to crumble and that can feel really hard. But again you’re going to create the space for new friends and new relationships and really be able to create the life that you deeply desire that’s based on energy and vitality and feeling really good.”

“I don’t love this word ‘normal,’ because often we often internalize that other people have to be struggling for it to be normal that we’re struggling. And, if you’re struggling, that’s one too many people struggling.”

“There’s no one better than you and the wisdom of your own body to really connect within and recognize what’s working and what isn’t.”
