WHAT DID TERRI SAY?

“I’ve really moved from the one-on-one thing to courses because my desire is to reach more people, make it accessible. Not everybody can go to therapy, but everybody can learn. So I built courses where I’m a damn good GPS to get you where you need to go to then make the changes you need to make.”

“We [women] were raised and praised to be self-abandoning co-dependents. We really were. And so there’s a lot of unlearning and a questioning of the things that we’ve just accepted.”

“Why is it good to be ‘easy-breezy’ all the time or at all? I don’t know, but it is valued. So, we need to stop the auto ‘Yes.’”

“It doesn’t matter what their intention is. They don’t need to have ill intent for their behavior to be bull. And so it’s our job to draw the boundary and set the limit.”

“You need hardcore delineation between when work time ends and life begins.”

“Between waking and sleeping is this beautiful place where it’s much easier to meditate. And it’s so much easier to do it in a guided way, especially if you’re a beginner.”

“Here’s the thing. You are the common denominator in your life. So, it’s impossible for it to be other people. It’s not a blame thing. It’s an amazing thing because you can become empowered.”
