WHAT DID MEGAN SAY?
“We have to fill up our own cups before we can help other people.”
“I think for a lot of people, it can depend on the situation. For some people, certain things are triggers. So obviously right now a pandemic, being at home, being isolated, not being able to make plans and feeling like your future is out of your control, it’s very triggering for a lot of people.”
“A really great way that I practice having a positive mental health – not only routine, but outlook on life – is I allow myself to feel what I’m feeling.”
“You also have to realize that, if you break it down, the root cause of anxiety is just a fear of, number one, losing control over a situation and, number two, not knowing the outcome.”
“In the pandemic, teenagers, middle school, high school, college students, they’re missing out on prom and their driver’s license and all these milestones that really shape you into who you are. So I really wanted to help them take their power back by creating this book.”
“Balance is something I will always constantly be striving to find. And I think I’m learning, every single day, more things about myself.”
“It’s good to work hard, but it’s even better to take care of yourself.”
